Train-The-Trainer Seminar - OCTOBER 7-11, 2024
Based on the German system of workforce training, Train the Trainer develops skilled workers into mentors and vision leaders. This seminar uses the German Apprenticeship Model as a foundation for a structured mentorship method, which integrates with all aspects of your work. Successful participants will gain lasting leadership skills that they will pass on to everyone around them. This unique leadership program is designed to develop and advance mentoring skills across industries and job functions. Whether you're a line manager, a project coordinator, or a supervisor, you will find meaningful tools to build cooperation, leadership, and accountability in your team.
The training is eligible for WEDnet funding reimbursement!

Oktoberfest in Downtown Pittsburgh: Celebrating German Culture with Young Professionals
Join us for a vibrant celebration of German tradition at the first-ever Oktoberfest in downtown Pittsburgh! Our office is conveniently located in Downtown, making it the perfect meeting spot to kick off the festivities. This event starts on Wednesday, October 9, hosted by GACC Pittsburgh. We specifically invite all interns, exchange students, J-1 Visa Students and young professionals who are eager to experience this Bavarian tradition firsthand.

Join us for a delightful Fall Happy Hour aboard on one of the Pittsburgh Party Pontoon boats! This is the perfect opportunity to unwind, connect with fellow GACC members, and enjoy the beautiful autumn views.
When: October 10, 2024 Where: The Landing and Marina at Station Square (behind Hard Rock Cafe)
We’ll provide a selection of beer (sponsored by Penn Brewery), wine, and light snacks to keep you refreshed as we cruise along the water. Feel free to bring your own favorite beverages to share or enjoy (except for hard liquor).
