Bindenagel (Former U.S. Ambassador and Henry Kissinger Professor for Governance and International Security, University of Bonn).

Please join us for delicious lunch at the Allegheny HYP club and discussion about European Transatlantic Relationship and Politics. 

There will be a $10 charge for members and a $20 charge for nonmembers to attend this event.

About Our Speaker

Prof. James D. Bindenagel was appointed Henry-Kissinger Professor at the University of Bonn and is founding director of the Center for International Security and Governance (created at the same time as the professorship) in October 2014. Bindenagel is considered a leading expert on transatlantic relations with a special focus on the German-U.S. relationship, with which he is familiar from many years of personal practical experience. During his thirty years in the U.S. diplomatic service, Professor Bindenagel worked both for the U.S. State Department in U.S. consulates and embassies in West Germany, East Germany, and the unified Germany. He was interim U.S. Ambassador to Germany from 1996 to 1997.
