The Foundation's Mission
The purpose of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce (New York) Foundation (the "Foundation") is to uphold the mission of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce (New York) (the "Chamber") and implement and execute charitable activities including fundraising for the Chamber's Apprenticeship program in connection with businesses to provide on the job training and skills training to unemployed youth in the Pittsburgh area with regional businesses. Funds raised will be used in part to pay for the apprenticeship student tuition.
Fundraising will include future funding of the established Chamber Ice Gala with contributions expected from corporate sponsors taking part and those interested in the apprenticeship program offered by the Chamber.
The Foundation is formed exclusively within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the "Code").
The primary sources of financial support of the Foundation will be contributions from both individual and corporate sponsorships as well as grant solicitations to other Pittsburgh regional foundations.

We are honored to celebrate the graduation of our fifth cohort of Apprentices this year! The Ice Gala is a night to recognize and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our Apprentices.
You and your company have the unique opportunity to make a direct impact by covering the admission cost for one or more Apprentices to attend the Gala. For $250 per Apprentice, you can invite them and share in their success story.
