The presidency of the Council of the European Union rotates every six months among the EU Member States. Germany officially assumes this position for the first time in over a decade starting on July 1, 2020 and lasting until the end of this year.
Please join the Representative of German Industry and Trade (RGIT) for an online webinar examining what’s in store as Germany takes over at the helm. Under the slogan “Together for Europe’s Recovery,” it is abundantly clear that addressing the health, economic, and social consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic will be a defining characteristic of Germany’s program. During the webinar, German government and business representatives will share their perspectives on Germany’s presidency, with a particular focus on economic and trade policy.
