Our Seventh Annual "Ice Gala - Kicking the Ice Edition" will be a hybrid gala with a virtual, live streaming of the Ice Gala with exquisite To Go Dinners by our own Bistro To Go. Our sponsors and their guests can choose to attend and celebrate with our apprentice or in the comfort of their living rooms! Either way, we hope you will join us!
We made it a tradition to take the pleasure in hosting members, supporters and friends of the German-American business community to raise awareness and funds for our Workforce Development Initiative and celebrate the growth and success of our Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship Programs and the companies and Apprentices participating in it.
We welcome regional business leaders and the who's who of the German-American community as they toast to the strength of the transatlantic connection between Germany and the U.S. and to recognize the dedication of our community, partnerships and sponsors. The event draws more and more guests each year with appearances of C-level executives and business leaders from a broad range of industries represented in the Pittsburgh region.
Our second cohort of Apprentices will graduate in Spring 2021. We will celebrate their achievements with a Graduation Ceremony during our Ice Gala. And despite the challenges in 2020 and 2021, our program did not lose its attractiveness for graduating students, participating high schools and companies in the region.
