Dietmar Rieg, CEO & President, GACC NY

Dietmar Rieg has served as President and CEO of the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC) in New York since July 2013. Prior to joining the GACC New York, he held numerous senior positions with BayernLB in New York since 1991. From 2006 to 2008, he shifted to the bank's headquarters in Munich, where he was responsible for the corporate banking business in multiple industries, including energy and telecommunications. Dietmar Rieg returned to New York in 2008 to take the position of General Manager of Bayern LB's New York office.

  Andreas Fibig | Chairman & CEO at International Flavors & Fragrances Inc.

Mr. Fibig joined IFF Board in 2011 and has been the Chairman since December 2014 and Chief Executive Officer since September 2014. Previously, he served as President and Chairman of the Board of Management of Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals, the pharmaceutical division of Bayer AG, from September 2008 to September 2014. Prior to that position, Mr. Fibig held a number of positions of increasing responsibility at Pfizer Inc., a research-based pharmaceutical company, including as Senior Vice President of the US Pharmaceutical Operations group from 2006 through 2008 and as President, Latin America, Africa and Middle East from 2003 through 2006. Mr. Fibig’s prior work experience with various pharmaceutical companies has provided him with extensive experience in international business, product development and strategic planning, which are directly translatable to his work as our Chairman and CEO. Mr. Fibig chairs the Board of Trustees of the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology. Mr. Fibig was appointed to the board of Bunge Limited in September of 2016 and elected to the Executive Committee of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in October 2016.
  Matthew Luzzetti, Chief US Economist, Deutsche Bank NY

Matthew Luzzetti is Chief US Economist and Head of US Economic Research at Deutsche Bank in New York. He was previously an economist in DB’s Office of the Chief Economist in London. Matthew’s research focuses primarily on the US economy and Fed policy, where he regularly contributes to DB’s global economics publications. In 2017, Matthew was named to Business Insider’s Rising Stars on Wall Street Under 35. His research has appeared in several books on economic policy and in top macroeconomics journals.  Matthew holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. While at UCLA, he worked at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in the Office of Financial Research. Prior to graduate school, he spent two years as a research analyst in the macroeconomics department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
  Andreas Glunz, Managing Partner at KPMG in GermanyAndreas leads KPMG Germany's Inbound and Outbound Businesses advising Multinationals around their global business and investment strategies. Since becoming a Partner in 2000 he is servicing several renowned international companies esp. in the industrial manufacturing and automotive space as a Lead Partner. During his more than 25 years in the service industry he has led various complex audit and advisory projects involving multiple jurisdictions, with a particular focus on Japan, Turkey as well as the United States. Andreas has a background as a German Certified Public Auditor and a Certified Tax Advisor in Germany. In addition he is regularly publicizing thought leadership covering global markets and businesses.
  Jan Heck | CEO and President | Miele Inc

With more than 20 years in the kitchen and bath industry in North America, Jan Heck was named president and CEO of Miele USA, a subsidiary of the world’s largest family-owned premium appliance company, in 2016. He oversees overall operations of the company’s consumer and professional use appliance and floor care products, which includes management of 10 Miele Experience Centers across the U.S. He started his career at Bizerba, a weighing and food processing equipment manufacturer, serving in Germany, the U.K. and Canada. After that, he joined Miele in Ontario, where he became president of the Miele Canada subsidiary in 1999. He has been active in numerous professional organizations and orchestrated a $100 million fundraising campaign as a board member of St. Josephs Health Centre Foundation in Toronto and was the Vice Chairman of the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce for many years.
 

Peter Riehle | President and CEO of WITTENSTEIN holding Corp.

In May 2013, Mr. Riehle was appointed President and CEO of WITTENSTEIN, holding, Corp., a company committed to being the world-class partner of intelligent mechatronic drive technology servo systems and mechanical components. WITTENSTEIN uses the power of science, innovation, and forward thinking engineering to provide cutting-edge technology for motion. The company?s global headquarters are in Igersheim, Germany with a North American subsidiary in Bartlett, Illinois. During the more than 19 years of operating experience in North America, Mr. Riehle has held a number of executive positions such as Vice President Sales and Marketing at Trumpf Inc. in Farmington, CT and as CEO and President at DMG America (DMG/Mori) in Chicago, IL.
 

Crispin Teufel | Chief Executive Officer at Lincare Holdings, Inc.

Crispin Teufel is a seasoned, international executive leader with deep knowledge and expertise in finance and reporting. With nearly two decades of progressively responsible experience in Germany and the U.S., Teufel assumed the role of CEO of Lincare Holdings Inc., the leading U.S. provider of respiratory therapy services for patients in the home, in July 2017.
 

Tyler Rollins | Executive Director | JP Morgan 
(Moderator)

J. Tyler Rollins is an Executive Director in J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Banking division, working with the North American subsidiaries of German multinational corporations on their credit and non-credit banking requirements. Mr. Rollins’ work in international corporate banking began in 1991 with Wachovia Bank, where he was eventually named Managing Director. He spent four years in London developing business with some of the most prominent companies in Europe. He has also worked with a wide variety of firms located across Latin America.
Beyond his experience in financial services, Mr. Rollins worked as a senior facilitator for Richardson Company, delivering consultative selling, negotiations, and coaching programs to Fortune 1000 companies. Mr. Rollins has lived for personal and professional reasons in Germany, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. He is fluent in Spanish and German, and conversational in Portuguese and French. He received a B.A. cum laude from Brigham Young University and an International MBA (MIBS) from the University of South Carolina. He has also completed an Executive Leadership Program at UNC Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
