Join us for a virtual session to our CEO breakfast. Our special guest this time is Heather Sykes and Chas Watson as both will give our CEO guests some local and federal government data and predictions about international trade issues during the pandemic.

About our speakers:

Heather Sykes is the Director for the Office of Supply Chain, Professional, and Business Services at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA). Prior to joining ITA in March 2021, Ms. Sykes was a National Program Manager for trade enforcement issues at the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center. Heather has also served as Branch Chief and an International Trade Specialist working on trade agreements, trade policy, and customs broker management issues at U.S. Customs and Border Protection; and as an International Trade Analyst at the U.S. International Trade Commission. In addition, Ms. Sykes has served short-term detail assignments to the United States Senate Committee on Finance and the Office of U.S. Trade Representative. Heather Sykes holds a MA in International Economic Policy and an MBA from American University in Washington, DC and a BA in International Studies from Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, PA.

Charles W. ‘Chas’ Watson is the President of R.L. Swearer Company, dedicated to helping it’s clients navigate international trade issues since 1915. Chas started with the company in 1983, running documents to the Customs House in Downtown Pittsburgh. He is a Licensed Customs Broker and Certified Customs Specialist, and speaks frequently to trade groups, public institutions, and private companies on trade related issues.
